Amanda Brooke Ashley, of Buffalo, Texas, was born on November 23, 1997, in Dallas, Texas to Kerry and Donna Wilson. Amanda departed from this world on July 11, 2024, at the tender age of twenty six years.

A proud 2016 graduate of Newman Smith High School in Carrollton, Texas, Amanda furthered her education by obtaining her bachelor's degree in 2020 from East Texas Baptist University. Throughout her academic journey, Amanda excelled in sports, leaving a trail of cherished memories both on the basketball court and within the classroom.

In the role of a middle school English teacher, Amanda made a lasting impact on the lives of her students, fostering a love for learning and creativity. Amanda dedicated herself to coaching various athletic teams and instilling invaluable life lessons in the players she mentored. 

Amanda drew her greatest joy from family life, cherishing her role as a loving spouse to Austin, and as a devoted mother to her three young children. She had an unwavering love for children, guiding and nurturing not only her own, but also her students and athletes.

Amanda was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Floyd & Ruth Screws and paternal grandparents, Wayne & Faye Wilson.

Surviving to cherish Amanda's memory are parents, Kerry & Donna Wilson of Carrollton; loving husband, Austin Ashley of Buffalo; children, Tommy-Lane Rush Ashley, Taytum Mei Ashley, and Addison Elisabeth Ashley; brothers, Jeffrey Wilson (Danielle) of Carrollton and Phillip Wilson (Katie) of Waukesha, Wisconsin; uncle, Barry Crews (Janice) of Longview; niece and nephew, Vivienne & Ethan Wilson of Carrollton; as well as numerous cousins, other extended family, and friends. 

Amanda was lovingly welcomed into Austin's family and cherished by all. She loved them dearly.

In celebration of Amanda’s beautiful life, a visitation will be held Friday, July 19, 2024, at 1 P.M., followed by a funeral service at 2:30 P.M., at Calvary Christian Center near Oakwood, Texas. Burial will follow in Post Oak Cemetery near Donie, Texas.
