Lisa Rettenmaier, age 46, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away June 20, 2018 at her home in Magnolia. A graveside service has been scheduled for 2 P.M., Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Wheelock Cemetery in the Flo Community of Leon County, Texas. Ms. Hannah Kennedy will officiate the service, and a brief visitation will take place before the service from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the cemetery
Angleica “Lisa” Rettenmaier was born July 16, 1971 in Houston, Texas to Max & Donna (Williamson) McNees. She was a housewife and artist. Lisa loved animals, especially her dogs, which she cared for throughout her life. Each one was given the name of a Greek mythological character; a favorite subject of interest for Lisa. She had lived in Magnolia for the past twelve years, coming from Austin, Texas.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Max McNees and maternal grandfather, Clifford Williamson. Surviving family members include mother, Donna McNees (Tom Cranston) of Elgin; husband, John Rettenmaier of Magnolia; brother, Aaron McNees (fiancée, Hannah Kennedy) of Arlington; niece, Hannah McNees Roberts of California; maternal grandmother, Joy Williamson of Texas City; aunt & uncles, Luann, Lyle & Jeff Williamson and numerous cousins.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo, Texas.
