Charles Ed Lambert

Charles moved to his heavenly mansion Sunday morning, March 29, 2020. If the sum of a man’s life is comprised of all the goodness he can fill that dash between his birth and his death, Charles stuffed his “dash” to the very brim.

For most of his life, Charlie was involved in some aspect of Real Estate—collecting rents as a young man to overseeing the management and sale of the majority of the country’s foreclosed real estate during the late ‘80’s financial crisis.

Charlie loved helping others succeed—finding their first home, moving up, investing in properties. He loved helping others start their own businesses and launched several of his own.

As Charlie celebrates his new life in heaven he leaves behind a lot of folks he loved and that dearly loved him—his companion of thirty-two years, Ellen, who is really mad he left; his brothers, Joe Nichols of Magnolia, Texas and Ed Ridge of Fairfield, Texas; his darling sister-in-law, Stacey “Robin” Cunningham of Durham, New Hampshire.

He leaves his beloved children, Chuck Lambert of Irving, Texas, Quaida Cooper and her husband, Cordon of Spring, Texas, Brett Lambert and his wife, Sonia of San Antonio, Texas and Denise Warren and her husband, Dwayne of Arlington, Texas. He gives all credit to this awesome progeny to his first wife, Peggy Lambert of Irving, Texas.

In addition, Charles will watch over his grandchildren, Britne’, Abbi, and their mother, Teri; Pearson, Sam, Devin and Dereke and the newest additions to the Lambert Clan, great-grandchildren, Wren and Sawyer.

Charles joins his parents, Art and Opal Lambert; his brother, Galen; and his son, Brian in heaven along with so many loved ones that got there first.

If you knew Charlie Lambert you knew he had a beautiful voice and used it to sing God’s praises for many years. No doubt Jesus loved to hear his rendition of “In the Garden” and “Why, Me?” We can only imagine how much more beautifully that heavenly chorus sounds with his awesome bass.

Also, if you knew Charlie Lambert, you know how happy he was to get to heaven. And you know how much he looks forward to one day seeing everyone again.

Memorial services for Charlie will take place at a later date.

Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas was entrusted with final arrangements.
