Charles Michael "Mike" Lee

Funeral services honoring the life of Mike Lee, age 68, of the Flo Community in Leon County, Texas will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church, Buffalo, Texas. Pastor of the church, Bro. Ray Grissett, will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery. A time of visitation will take place Friday, April 14th from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.

Charles Michael "Mike" Lee was born March 9, 1955 in Houston, Texas to Charlie Ernest & Alma Lynn (Gore) Lee. He worked as a welder for Powell Electric and truely enjoyed his job. He especially enjoyed training new employees and often formed friendships with most of them that were lifelong. In 2010, when Mike retired to come to Flo and care for his father, he spent a majority of his days hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He loved the family farm and loved having his family and friends down to visit. Mike passed away following a lengthy illness April 6, 2023 at his home in Flo. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and brother, Larry Lee.

Surviving family members include daughters, Allison Lee of Buffalo and Rachel Lee of Houston; Allison's & Rachel's mother, Janet Lee of Houston; sister, Mary Lynn Lee of Tennessee Colony and nieces, Elizabeth Welch of Santa Fe and Kathryn Trantham of Santa Fe, as well as numerous extended family and friends.
