Cheryl Lee Gantt was born April 16, 1961 in Bryan, Texas to Raymond Lee & Anna Darol (Phillips) Melasky. She passed away July 24, 2022 in College Station, Texas. Bo was a graduate of Leon High School and a lifelong resident of Leon County, Texas. After graduation she continued with her passion and love of flowers and worked alongside her family at their business, BoBo’s Nursery and Florist, pursuing her dream of being a florist. She married her husband, Keith, and together they enjoyed living on their ranch, watching the cows and swimming in her pool. She enjoyed many different hobbies including playing the piano, painting ceramics and gardening. She attended Miracle Christian Center where she played piano on the praise team for over thirty years. She was the distinguished recipient of the Mason's Community Builder Award by the Jewett Masonic Lodge #427. Bo was fortunate enough to have worked with sister, who was her best friend and her business partner. More than just sisters, they were sole mates. Though she never had children of her own, she was like a mom to her nieces and nephews. Bo had a big heart and her love and generosity touched many lives. She loved visiting with all the customers over the years, and most of them became lifelong friends of hers. Anyone who knew Bo knew she loved flowers, red birds, Winnie dogs and all things purple.
BoBo was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Melasky and husband, Keith Gantt. Surviving family members include mother, Anna Williams of Buffalo; step-daughters, Coleen Heaton of Dawson and Jennifer Fields of Fairfield; sister, Ginger Vybiral of Buffalo; brother, Joey Melasky of Buffalo; nieces & nephew, Vanessa Brown of Buffalo, Elizabeth Pabon (Victor) of Tyler, Carrie Ortiz (Juan) of Buffalo, Stephen Lee of Hattiesburg, MS and Amy Williams (Jeremy) of Buffalo and longtime friend, Larry Ellison, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
