Daniel Ray Mershawn

A graveside service for Daniel Ray Mershawn will be held at 10 A.M., Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Brushy Cemetery in Buffalo, Texas. Pastor Zip Gatton will officiate the service. A visitation will be held from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., Tuesday, August 16 at Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.

Daniel Ray Mershawn, 50, of Buffalo, Texas passed away on August 11, 2022 in Waco, Texas. Daniel was born to William Ray Mershawn and Hazel Marie (Seamans) Day in Waxahachie, Texas on June 24, 1972. Daniel was known to be very independent and would help anyone in need. He truly cared for others and had a heart of gold.

He is survived by his mother, Hazel Marie (Seamans) Day; father, William Ray Mershawn & wife, Mary Ann; brother, Brandon Mershawn; sister, Katherine Lawhon & husband, Kevin along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
