A funeral service celebrating the life of Dennis Gage, 51, of Buffalo, Texas will be held 3 P.M., Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas. Members of the R Construction Team will officiate the service. The Gage family will receive friends Friday, August 27th from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Dennis Wayne Gage was born in Shreveport, Louisiana May 8, 1970, to parents, Bill Gene & Aline Josephine (Ebarb) Gage. He had lived in Buffalo for the past six years, coming from San Augustine, Texas. Dennis worked as the Fleet Manager for R Construction and had quite a reputation for his enormous sense of humor on and off the job.
Dennis most enjoyed spending time with his wife, Blaire and their three children. He loved taking the family sightseeing various places allowing them all to experience the beauty that the world has to offer. He also enjoyed the occasional camping trip and hunting. Dennis was a hard worker and liked to fix things that were broken. His absence will be felt by everyone who knew him.
Dennis was preceded in death by both of his parents and an infant sister, Loretta Gage. Surviving family includes wife, Blaire Gage of Buffalo; children, Dennis W. Gage, Jr., Laila DeAnn Gage and Vivienne DeAnn Gage; siblings, Jane Williams (Bill) of Bronson, Roger Gage (Cynthia Ann) of Conroe, Linda Peck (David), Marsha Jean Lawrence, Wanda Jo David (Ronnie), Billy Gage (Donna) of Caldwell and Jesse Don Gage (Rosa) of Caldwell and half-sister, Anita Smith of San Augustine. Dennis is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
