Edward Wayne Laplant

Edward Wayne LaPlant, age 81, of Buffalo, Texas passed away on January 7, 2022, in Fairfield, Texas. He was born on April 12, 1940, to Ralph and Alice LaPlant in Dewy, Oklahoma.

Edward had lived in the Leon County area for around twenty years coming from Livingston, Texas. His family moved a lot when he was younger. He lived in Wyoming, Colorado and Oklahoma. He became a lineman in Colorado and built many homes as a carpenter.

Edward was preceded in death by both of his parents; daughter, Pauline; and brother, Kenneth LaPlant. He is survived by wife, Myrna; sons, Alan LaPlant, James LaPlant, and Jacob Dean LaPlant; daughter, Catherine LaPlant; bother, Dennis LaPlant; and sister, Phyllis (Duane) Sams.

Arrangements are under the care of Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.
