She resided in Leon County, Texas for the majority of her life, having only briefly after marriage, lived in Freeport, Texas.

Eva will be remembered for her devotion to God and her family. She was a longtime member of Flo Baptist Church and supporter of the Flo Community Center and Flo Volunteer Fire Department. If there was a gathering or fundraiser, Eva always provided covered dishes and desserts.

Eva was a hard worker and loved gardening, canning, cooking, sewing and reading.

She devoted her life to her kids and most especially to her youngest, Mary Katheryn, who had special needs, but Eva loved her dearly and cared for her everyday until her passing.
