Irma Ramos Aguirre of Warminster, PA, passed way Sunday January 1, 2023 at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home in Bucks County, PA. She was 88 years old. Born in Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Avelina Ramos Rodriguez. She was the beloved wife of the late Felix J. Aguirre and loving mother of Felix R. & Angela Aguirre and Irma L. Aguirre & Scott Hale. Also surviving are her 3 grandchildren, Justin & Abby Hale, Celia “Aguirre” & Zane Rice, James & Devon Aguirre, along with her 4 great grandchildren Leela Konzelman, Mason Rice and Bennett and Logan Aguirre.
Irma Sr., as she was known, went peacefully with family around her. Irma Sr. was an extremely strong woman who came from Cuba in the late 60s. She first chose to send her husband to Spain in order for him to ultimately get to the US. This meant waiting in Cuba, with their two children, for him to get the means to bring them over. This is after being told by the Cuban officials she would never see him again. For three years she waited until he finally got them out through Mexico. She and her husband had a respect for this country that to many take for granted these days. She will truly be missed.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org in Irma's memory.
Memorial graveside services for Irma will be held 4 P.M., Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Buffalo Cemetery, Buffalo, Texas. Pastor Chuck Davis, of Celebration Church, Buffalo, Texas, will officiate the service.
