Jennifer Jean Kelly

Memorial services for Jennifer Kelly, age 69, will be held 11 A.M., Friday, June 3, 2022 at First Baptist Church, Buffalo, Texas. Pastor of the church, Rev. Alan Grisham, will officiate the service.

Jennifer Jean Kelly was born November 10, 1952 in Clinton, North Carolina. She was one of seven children of Harold & Sybil "Marie" (Reynolds) West. Jennifer graduated from Sam Houston State University and began her career as a public school teacher. She also taught in a school for troubled boys and finally enjoyed a career at Quality Inn in Buffalo, Texas. In her younger years, Jennifer enjoyed a life of travel due to her parents being in the military and later enlisting in the Air Force, herself, as well as her husband's military service. They had lived in the Buffalo area for the past forty years where Jennifer enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and computer games. Jennifer was a faithful and active member of First Baptist Church, Buffalo, Texas until her health began to fail.

Jennifer passed away May 28, 2022 at her home in Buffalo following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Charles Kelly and sister, Janet West.

Surviving family members include children, Lori Kelly, Kyle Kelly and Timothy Kelly; siblings, Tammy Jenkins, Harold West, Judy Neher, Ronald "Ronnie" West and Teresa Mobley, as well as a granddaughter on the way.
