Jimmy Glen Haynes, Sr.

Jimmy Glen Haynes, Sr., 61, of Galveston, Texas passed away April 9, 2021 in Galveston. He was born October 25, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to Howard Gene Sr. & Elgia (Henderson) Haynes. Jimmy had lived most of his life in Galveston County and enjoyed mechanic work and fishing.

Jimmy was preceded in death by both of his parents; two brothers, Kenneth & Brian Haynes and one sister, Angie Haynes. His surviving family members include sons, Jimmy G. Haynes, Jr. and Donald Haynes; daughter, Alicia Hernandez; brothers, Gene, Larry, William & Tommy Haynes and sisters, Kathy Bailey, Hazel Harwell, Rebecca Cuneo and Barbara Martin. Jimmy is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Jimmy will be held 1 P.M., Monday, April 19, 2021 at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery near Oakwood, Texas. Pastor Butch Grant will officiate the service.
