A funeral service honoring the life of Linda Taylor, 73, of Buffalo, Texas will be held 2 P.M., Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Calvary Christian Center near Oakwood, Texas. Pastor of the church, Jack Smith, will officiate the service, and interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. A visitation will take place Saturday, January 22nd from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.
Born Linda Lee Lynn, February 6, 1948 in Houston, Texas, she was the daughter of Earnest & Avis (Jones) Lynn. Linda had lived in Buffalo since 1971 and had worked as the CFO for Alternative Service Network. She was a faithful member of Calvary Christian Center and enjoyed telling everyone about Jesus. Linda dearly loved her church family. She also loved spending time with her own family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed movie time with them but would usually spend more time talking than watching the movie. Linda had begun learning to quilt and she had a talent for music and poem writing and playing the guitar.
Linda passed away January 20, 2022 in Bryan, Texas. She was greeted upon her arrival in heaven by both her parents; husband, Lawrence Taylor; son, Gregg Taylor; sister, Laura Zimmerman and brothers, Charlie & Ernie Lynn.
Surviving family members include son, Jason (Stacy) Taylor of Donie; grandchildren, Matthew Taylor, Hunter Taylor, Bailey Taylor, Cole Taylor, Lane Taylor, Kayla Rowe and Khristina Dean, as well as six great-grandchildren.
Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas is in charge of final arrangements.
