Mario Espinoza Flores

A funeral mass for Mario Espinoza Flores, age 41, of Buffalo, Texas will be held 10 A.M., Friday, May 13, 2022 at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Roman Catholic Church, Buffalo, Texas. A committal service will follow in Buffalo Cemetery. A visitation will take place Thursday, May 12th from 12 noon until 7 P.M. with a service held from 7 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home.

Mario Espinoza Flores was born January 19, 1981 in Durango, Mexico to Esteban Espinoza and Maria Luisa Flores. He grew up in Mexico and later moved to Buffalo, Texas where he lived the past twenty-two years. Mario enjoyed spending time with friends, watching horse races and being with his children. Mario passed away May 8, 2022 in Buffalo, Texas. He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Hortensia Valdes and paternal grandmother, Maria Mata.

Surviving family members include father, Esteban Espinoza (Martha) of Buffalo; mother, Maria Luisa Flores of El Paso; maternal grandfather, Tiburcio Flores of Mexico; wife, Maria Leon of Buffalo; son, Mario Alex Espinoza of Buffalo; daughter, Aleannah Espinoza of Buffalo; brother, Esteban Espinoza, Jr. (Rosa) of Bryan and sisters, Mayra Espinoza (Ramon) of El Paso, Nancy Espejo (Irving) of Dallas and Sayra Portillo of El Paso.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.
