GOD’s unseen hand reached down and took Michael E. Hitt home on August 20, 2019. Mike was born to Betty and Eugene Hitt on April 1, 1954. Mike joined the Norma and Claude Moore family over forty years ago when he stole their daughter, Rhonda’s, heart.
The family has chosen to grieve in private according to Mike’s wishes.
Rhonda wishes to express her sincere appreciation for all the thoughts and prayers received during Mike’s illness. Rhonda especially wishes to thank GOD for allowing the couple’s two hearts to beat as one for over forty years. A final word to Mike from Rhonda, “Thank you for loving me and taking care of me all these years. May the wonderful memories of our life together sustain me until we meet again on the other side. Rest in peace, my love. You have earned it.”
Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence,
sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than
perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.
Love is content with the present, it hopes for the future and it doesn’t brood over the
past. It’s the day-in and day-out chronicle of irritations, problems, compromises, small
disappointments, big victories and working toward common goals.
If you have love in your life, it can make up for a great many things that are missing. If
you don’t have love in your life, no matter what else there is, it’s not enough.
