Patricia Elisabet Garcia

A funeral service honoring the life of Patricia Garcia, 64, of Buffalo will be held 12 noon, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas. A public visitation will take place Friday, January 14th from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. with a rosary following until 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

Patricia was born in Nayarit, Jalisco, Mexico. She held an Associates Degree from Navarro Jr. College but was blessed to work as a devoted homemaker to her family her entire life. Patricia had lived in Buffalo since 1980, coming from Mexico. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of her yard and flower beds and traveling, especially to the beach. Most of all, Patricia dearly loved her family and spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Patricia had the best personality, and the most contagious laugh. She never met a stranger and brought out the best in everyone. She had an incredible love for life and happiness. She loved to sing and dance and was the life of the party everywhere she went. She passed away January 11, 2022 in Dallas, Texas and was preceded in death by her beloved mother.

Surviving family members include husband, Rene B. Garcia; daughters, Paloma Sotelo (fiancé, Trey Cadenhead) and Adriana Castro (John) and grandchildren, Karina Sotelo (fiancé, Holt Van Etten), Andrew Sotelo, Kamrin Sotelo, Roman Castro and one grandchild on the way, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Final arrangements are under the direction of Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.
