Robbie Lee Eldridge

Robbie Lee Eldridge, 97, of Oakwood, Texas passed away at her home on June 7, 2021. She was born to Robert Ben Redding and Addie Geneva Lee on April 7, 1924. Robbie worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for a short period of time at Oakwood ISD and later at a Private Practice in Colorado.

During her life, Robbie enjoyed visiting Colorado, along with getting apples and other fruits at Cedaredge in Colorado. Hobbies included fishing, painting, and traveling. She was a longtime faithful member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren, she was so proud of them! Robbie always displayed an unselfish love and care for those around her. Robbie had a great sense of humor and was quick witted. She was a joy to all who knew and loved her.

Robbie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Eldridge; sons, Jerry and Bobby Eldridge; sister, Marie Crawford; and brother Joe Wayne Redding. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Charlotte Pate of Oakwood, Texas; grandchildren, Desiree Humphrey, Jason Pate, Micah Pate, and Dana Eldridge; great-grandchildren, Kimberly Moore, Kristen Hudson, Chelsea Wilkes, Cullen Pate, Zane Pate, and Breanna Eldridge; great-great-grandchildren, Lillie, Chloe, Alayna, Oaklyn, Liam, Braelynn, Karsynn.

Graveside services for Robbie will take place 1 P.M., Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Oakwood Cemetery in Oakwood, Texas.

Services are under the direct care of Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas.
