Ronald Dean Straney

Ronald Dean Straney, 60, of Buffalo, Texas passed away on June 1, 2023 in Fairfield, Texas. He was born on March 12, 1963 to Herman Glenn and Jacqueline Estelle (Record) Straney in Houston, Texas. Ronald was very gifted with his hands by gardening, farming, mechanicing and welding, and he was a master metal man. Ronald installed copper at Texas A&M University and various H-E-B stores across the state. He was a jack of all trades and a complete perfectionist.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Herman Straney; brothers, Steve Straney and Michael Straney; and sister, Kimberly Reagan. He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Straney of Buffalo, Texas; brothers, Tim Straney of Madisonville, Texas and Christopher Straney of Buffalo, Texas; sisters, Sandra Murphy of Arizona and Pamela Rawls (Donny) of Conroe, Texas; and various nieces, nephews and extended family.

A memorial service for Ronald will be held at 2 P.M., Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas. Brother Johnny Veretto will officiate the service.
